Volunteer
Volunteers are critically important to every museum, and the Texas Quilt Museum is no exception! You do not need to be a quilter, because there are many different ways to help.
Museum volunteers and docents assist with the following:
“White glove duty” to protect the quilts and turn them for viewing by visitors
Chat with visitors, answer questions, and guide tours through exhibits
Welcome guests and take admissions
Help hang exhibitions
And there are many more opportunities for you to be a part of the excitement at the Museum!
Garden volunteers help keep us in bloom!
Assist with seasonal planting and pruning
Utilize gardening knowledge to help identify Grandmother’s Flower Garden needs
Enjoy learning and caring for period plants in this special garden
Join us… (and get to see exhibits first!)
