Jane Dunnewold: Inspired by the Masters
After Dunnewold viewed an exhibition of the work of French artist Henri Matisse, she became fascinated by the colors and unique perspective in his still life paintings. Dunnewold decided to incorporate vintage textiles into a quilt series as an homage to Matisse and other masters, linking fine art and craft. She used a wide variety of materials, but the techniques are all her own
in these 14 quilts.

Antique Indigo Quilts from the Poos Collection
Kay Triplett began purchasing antique quilts many years ago, amassed from antique shops, international travel, estate sales, auctions, dealers, and gifts. She named it the Poos Collection in tribute to her grandmother. These 25 examples of 19th-century treasures showcase exquisite hand quilting and the gorgeous contrast of vibrant blue on white.
