Sew Many People
“The line to get into the museum Sunday after the doors were open for the first time, stretched not only down to the end of the block on Colorado Street but also curled around onto Washington Street in front of the NTB. The line moved quickly but there was a short wait to get into the museum for the next several hours because of the big crowds. Sunday admission was free to the three-gallery facility but normally there will be an admission charge. Many downtown businesses opened specially for the day, and the Classic Cruisers, a local car club showed up, creating a festival-type atmosphere all afternoon around the square.”
