The Briscoe Center Visit
Six staff members from the Briscoe Center for American History at the University of Texas visited the Museum in June for a guided tour of the new "Texas Quilts Today" (Part 3) exhibit and the Museum's three galleries. Discussions also covered details about the Museum's ultra-violet filtered lighting, which protects quilts on display; its innovative exhibit hanging system, created especially for the Museum by Hang-Ups; and the unusual crystallized repeating Museum logo on exterior windows.
